The Adirondack (19-14) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Sherrill (13-20), recording a 15-7 victory on Thursday at Noyes Park.
The game was decided quickly as the Adirondack exerted their will early with nine runs in the first three innings.
An RBI double by Kenny May and a home run by James Anderson in the first inning and a fielder's choice and an RBI single by Bobby McLaughlin during the second inning fueled the Adirondack's offense early.Anderson racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Adirondack.
Anthony Ragos racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Sherrill. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Even though Charles Parsons allowed six runs over seven innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.
Nate Eastman (2-2) took the loss for the Sherrill. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked three, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
The Adirondack hammered the Sherrill pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, 13 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
