The Adirondack takes advantage of early error, beats the GEN Red Wings 6-2

Three first-inning runs helped the Adirondack (14-12) to a 6-2 win over the GEN Red Wings (10-15) at McDonough Park on Sunday.

Kenny May was solid at the plate for the Adirondack. May went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and ninth innings.

Mike Muglia shut down the GEN Red Wings while he was on the mound. The GEN Red Wings managed just three hits off of Muglia, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Joe Bocchino ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out six.
