The GEN Red Wings fall 8-2 at the hands of the Adirondack

The Adirondack (9-4) pounded the GEN Red Wings (5-6) on Thursday 8-2 at McDonough Park.

The Adirondack scored two runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Chase Matheson and a groundout by Gooch Greer.

Colton Campbell had a hot bat for the Adirondack. Campbell went 3-5, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first and sixth innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Sean Larson baffled the GEN Red Wings, striking out six batters. Larson allowed one earned run, three hits and two walks over four innings.

Ian Tresser improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Adirondack. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out three, walked two and surrendered three hits.

Jeff Croteau was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
