The SYR Salt Cats fall 11-3 at the hands of the SYR JR Chiefs

The SYR Salt Cats (16-23) didn't have a chance on Tuesday, as the SYR JR Chiefs (26-10) won in blowout fashion, 11-3 at Alliance Bank Stadium.

The SYR JR Chiefs scored four runs in the second on , a fielder's choice, a single by Daniel Carroll, a hit by pitch, and a single by Alexander Sanchez Jr..

Carroll put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the SYR JR Chiefs.

The SYR JR Chiefs got the win thanks in large part to Dean Bonneau's dominant, six-strikeout performance. The SYR JR Chiefs' pitcher tossed four innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.
