The SYR JR Chiefs drub the GEN Red Wings, 10-3

The SYR JR Chiefs (11-2) pounded the GEN Red Wings (6-9) on Tuesday 10-3 at Alliance Bank Stadium.

The SYR JR Chiefs scored three runs in the sixth on an error, an RBI single by Zach Lauricella, and a wild pitch.

It was a good day at the plate for the SYR JR Chiefs' David Wolak. Wolak went 2-5, drove in one and scored three runs.

JD Tyler put together a nice outing. Tyler gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Brian Sullivan paced the GEN Red Wings at the plate. Sullivan went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Joe Bocchino (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked three and struck out five.
