Richards' three-run home run gives the Olean walk-off win over the Hornell, 9-7

A walk-off three-run blast from Thomas Richards brought home the winning run for the Olean (22-18) in a 9-7 victory over the Hornell (25-15) at St. Bonaventure on Monday.

Richards racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Olean. He homered in the ninth inning.

The Olean were led by Brian Dixon's hitting. Dixon went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Cody Stevenson led the Hornell's offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He singled in the sixth and seventh innings and doubled in the ninth inning.

The Olean couldn't get anything going so long as Jordan Quinn was on the hill. Quinn held the Olean hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Braden Lee recorded his first win of the year for the Olean. He allowed two runs over two innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Tyler Wilson (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out one.
