Steven Beckham struck out eight batters to lift the Niagara (16-15) to a 3-1 win over the Wellsville at Sal Maglie Stadium.

Neil DeCook got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Anthony Galan (3-5) took the loss for the Wellsville (13-18). He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed two runs.
