The York Revolution (35-31) pounded the Somerset Patriots (31-35) on Wednesday 9-2 at Sovereign Bank Stadium.
The York Revolution scored three runs in the sixth on a two-run double by Michael Hernandez and a sacrifice fly by James Shanks.
Shanks racked up two RBIs on three hits for the York Revolution.
The Somerset Patriots were led by Yunesky Sanchez's hitting. Sanchez went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second inning and homered in the sixth inning.
Corey Thurman got the win, running his season record to 8-1. He allowed two runs over six innings. Thurman struck out three, walked one and gave up eight hits.
Sean Green ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
