Walker gives the GEN Twins late push to beat the Niagara, 3-2

Cody Walker drove in the winning run to give the GEN Twins (11-13) the lead in the sixth inning, as the GEN Twins hung on to beat the Niagara (10-9) 3-2 on Sunday.

After Luke Stewart was hit by a pitch, Walker singled, bringing home Stewart.

The GEN Twins staved off the Niagara as the Niagara were unable to match the GEN Twins down the stretch.

The Niagara scored one run in the eighth on a groundout by Nicholas Linne. Despite their efforts, the Niagara couldn't get over the hump.

Justin Ratte picked up the win for the GEN Twins. Ratte pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and two walks while striking out four.

Frank Grandinette (0-1) took the loss for the Niagara. He lasted just seven innings, walked two, struck out 11, and allowed three runs.
