The GEN Twins top the Olean behind Allen's 4 hits, 12-5

An impressive effort by Michael Allen lifted the GEN Twins (8-6) to a 12-5 win over the Olean (8-6) on Thursday at St. Bonaventure.

Allen put himself in scoring position with four extra-base hits for the GEN Twins. He doubled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the sixth and eighth innings.

The biggest inning for the GEN Twins was the second. The Olean had no answer as the GEN Twins scored seven runs.

The Olean's lineup had no answer for Alex Juday. Juday held the Olean hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Brad Rush had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings.

Jon Menke recorded his second win of the year for the GEN Twins. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Joe Dileo was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in five innings, walked two and struck out seven.
