The GEN Twins (4-3) were never able to get over the hump and get over their troubles against the Wellsville (3-6) on Monday, as the GEN Twins fell 5-3 at McDonough Park after falling behind by four runs in the eighth inning.

The GEN Twins scored two runs in the eighth on a two-run single by Michael Allen. Unfortunately, the GEN Twins weren't able to take the lead back.

Pete Strommen blasted two home runs for the Wellsville. Strommen went 2-4 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Strommen homered in the second and fourth innings.

TJ Hunt got the win for the Wellsville thanks to eight strikeouts. Hunt allowed three earned runs, three hits and three walks over seven innings.

Josh Chinni was solid at the plate for the GEN Twins. Chinni went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Zach Connelly (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
