The Niagara need walk-off solo blast to beat the Wellsville, 6-5

A walk-off solo home run from Adam Taylor brought home the winning run for the Niagara (1-0) in a 6-5 victory over the Wellsville (0-2) in 13 innings at Sal Maglie Stadium on Saturday.

Taylor rocked the Wellsville with two home runs. Taylor went 3-6 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Taylor homered in the sixth and thirteenth innings.

Steven Beckham handled the Wellsville's lineup with ease, racking up 10 strikeouts. Beckham allowed one earned run, five hits and two walks over eight innings.

Seth Eller recorded his first win of the year for the Niagara. Eller struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
