An impressive effort by Mark Brackman led the Lancaster Barnstormers (41-24) to a 5-1 win over the Camden Riversharks (30-34) on Tuesday at Clipper Magazine.
Brackman picked up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. Brackman pitched nine innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out six.
Fehlandt Lentini helped the Lancaster Barnstormers take the lead for good in the seventh inning. Blake Gailen singled to start the seventh. He then went from first to second on a stolen base. Finally, Lentini came to the plate with the score tied at one, and singled, bringing home Gailen and Brad Boyer.
Jaime Pedroza had two extra-base hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He doubled in the sixth and seventh innings.
Mike McGuire was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just 6 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
