Bubba Bell went 4-4 at the plate as the Sugar Land Skeeters (25-33) took home a 6-2 victory over the Camden Riversharks (27-30) at Constellation Field, Sugar Land on Tuesday.
He doubled in the second and fourth innings and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.The Camden Riversharks couldn't get anything going as long as Pedro Liriano was on the mound. Liriano held the Camden Riversharks hitless over four innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.
Alvin Colina led the Camden Riversharks' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the second inning.
Bryan Corey couldn't get it done on the bump for the Camden Riversharks, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
