The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (27-31) had a tough outing on Tuesday, as the Lancaster Barnstormers (36-22) dominated in an 8-1 win at Regency Furniture Stadium.

The Lancaster Barnstormers scored four runs in the first on a two-run single by Jaime Pedroza, an RBI double by Emerson Frostad, and a sacrifice fly by Ryan Harvey.

Terry Tiffee racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He homered in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Lancaster Barnstormers relied on Alan Johnson to eat up innings en route to the win. Johnson allowed one earned run, six hits and two walks while striking out five over seven innings of work.

Nick Green was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
