The Somerset Patriots (25-26) took down the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs (25-26) 7-1 on Tuesday at RegencyFurnitureStadiumWaldrfMD after slamming the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs with four runs in the seventh inning.

Aaron Mathews racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Somerset Patriots. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Paul Phillips got the win for the Somerset Patriots thanks to seven strikeouts. Phillips allowed no earned runs, three hits and one walk over seven innings.

Dan Reichert couldn't get it done on the bump for the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out four.
