The Somerset Patriots (20-24) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 5-2 ballgame against the Sugar Land Skeeters (18-25) on Sunday at Constellation Field, Sugar Land.

While the Somerset Patriots led until the seventh inning, the Sugar Land Skeeters worked their way back and took the lead.

Dominic Ramos racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Bobby Livingston picked up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Livingston allowed two earned runs, five hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Andrew Dobies was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
