Hill allows no runs to lead the York Revolution past the Long Island Ducks 6-1

Shawn Hill kept the Long Island Ducks (22-14) off the board during his six innings of work and the York Revolution (16-19) beat the Long Island Ducks, 6-1.

Hill allowed four hits, one walk and struck out seven.

Scott Grimes paced the York Revolution at the plate. Grimes went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Bryant Nelson had a hot bat for the Long Island Ducks. Nelson went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Mike Loree (2-1) took the loss for the Long Island Ducks. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out five.
