The York Revolution (13-17) took down the Bridgeport Bluefish (16-16) 11-1 on Tuesday at Harbor Yard after slamming the Bridgeport Bluefish with six runs in the first inning.
James Shanks racked up three RBIs on four hits for the York Revolution. He doubled in the third inning, singled in the first and fourth innings, and homered in the seventh inning.
Corey Thurman picked up the win for the York Revolution. Thurman pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out one.
Gilbert De La Vara (2-2) took the loss for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He allowed six runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked three and struck out none.
The York Revolution tacked on another three runs in the fourth. The inning looked promising, as Liu Rodriguez homered to kick things off. That was followed up by Travis Scott's single, plating Ramon Castro.
