An ace performance by Mike Loree carried the Long Island Ducks (20-10) to an 8-0 win over the Camden Riversharks on Monday at Campbells Field.

Loree kept the Camden Riversharks (13-17) off the board during his seven innings of work. Loree struck out five and allowed no walks and three hits.

The Long Island Ducks blew out the Camden Riversharks thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Long Island Ducks scored three runs in the fourth on a solo home run by Ray Navarrete, an RBI single by Dan Lyons, and an error.

Navarrete racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Long Island Ducks.

Mike McGuire couldn't get it done on the mound for the Camden Riversharks, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
