The Long Island Ducks (22-16) and the Bridgeport Bluefish (19-19) volleyed the lead five times on Sunday, but the Long Island Ducks came out on top for a 8-3 win on Sunday at Bethpage Ballpark.

Shawn Williams had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Brock Peterson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Randy Keisler improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Long Island Ducks. He allowed three runs over six innings. Keisler struck out six, walked four and gave up six hits.

Isaac Hess (2-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked four and struck out three.

The Long Island Ducks were sparked by Kraig Binick and Williams, who teamed up for six hits and two RBIs.
