The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (19-24) and the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (22-17) passed the lead back and forth five times on Saturday at Vineyard Baseball Park, but in the end the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide pulled out a 3-2 win over the Marthas Vineyard Sharks.

Colin Gay was hot from the plate for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide. Gay went 3-4 and drove in one. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

The Marthas Vineyard Sharks couldn't get anything going so long as Dillon Ryan was on the hill. The Marthas Vineyard Sharks managed just one hit off of the the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide's pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one during his five innings of work.

A bright spot for the Marthas Vineyard Sharks in the defeat was Mike Bradstreet, who allowed only three runs while striking out seven.

Bradstreet ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
