Michael RoBards pitched seven shutout innings to lift the Pittsfield Suns (12-16) to a 4-0 win over the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (11-14) at Wahconah Park.

Ryan Deitrich racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Pittsfield Suns. He homered in the seventh inning.

A bright spot for the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide in the defeat was Oliver Van Zant, who allowed only one run while striking out six.

Van Zant (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher.
