Joe Fasano kept the Pittsfield Suns (11-14) off the board during his six innings of work and the Brockton Rox (10-11) beat the Pittsfield Suns, 7-0.

Fasano allowed five hits, no walks and struck out three.

Five runs in the first three innings helped the Brockton Rox blow out the Pittsfield Suns. A two-run single by Luis Gonzalez during the first inning helped the Brockton Rox put some runs on the board early.

Gonzalez racked up three RBIs on four hits for the Brockton Rox.

Tom Darby was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
