Tyler Dierke kept the Pittsfield Suns (7-9) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Torrington Titans (8-5) beat the Pittsfield Suns, 7-4.

Dierke struck out three and allowed one walk and three hits.

Rich Graef had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth and fifth innings.

The Pittsfield Suns were led by Brendan Slattery's hitting. Slattery went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the second and fourth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
