The Nashua Silver Knights (7-4) trailed by four in the sixth, but Logan Gillis was able to capture the lead back with a double in the seventh, spurring the Nashua Silver Knights to an 8-7 win over the Brockton Rox (4-8) at Holman Stadium on Thursday.
With the Nashua Silver Knights trailing by one, Gillis came to the plate and doubled, plating Griff Tewksbury and Sean Lyons.
Gillis racked up four RBIs on four hits for the Nashua Silver Knights. He singled in the first and sixth innings and doubled in the third and seventh innings.
Greg Baggett racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Brockton Rox. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
John Coughlin recorded his first win of the year for the Nashua Silver Knights. He allowed one run over 2 2/3 innings. Coughlin struck out one, walked one and gave up five hits.
John Sheehan ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
