The Pittsfield Suns (6-6) jumped out to an early lead, but were unable to hold on and lost 5-2 to the Seacoast Mavericks (6-6) on Wednesday.

The Seacoast Mavericks took the lead in the fourth inning on a two-run home run by Anyelo Roman.

Roman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Seacoast Mavericks. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Donald Hissa picked up the win for the Seacoast Mavericks. Hissa pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and four walks while striking out four.

Shane Beauchemin was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
