The North Shore Navigators' late runs seal 8-2 blowout over the Brockton Rox

The North Shore Navigators (27-19) beat the Brockton Rox (26-22) 8-2 on Wednesday thanks to a four-run seventh inning.

Aaron Silbar helped the North Shore Navigators take the lead for good in the sixth inning. Jake McGuiggan doubled to start the sixth. He then went from second to third on a groundout by Andrew Harris. Finally, Silbar came to the plate with the score tied at two in the sixth inning, and singled, plating McGuiggan.

Silbar racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Shore Navigators. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Tony Serino racked up two RBIs on two hits for the North Shore Navigators. He singled in the sixth and seventh innings.

Crayton Bare brought the heat against the Brockton Rox during his outing. Bare held the Brockton Rox hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four.

Michael Romano (3-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
