Robert Rozzi was cold coming off the bench, but Rozzi warmed up quickly as Rozzi stroked a key pinch-hit single in the seven to lead the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (4-4) to a 10-6 win over the Seacoast Mavericks (5-6) on Friday at The Ball Park.

With the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide trailing by one in the seventh inning, Rozzi came to the plate and singled.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to six lead changes in the game.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide finally managed to grab the lead after a strong seventh inning. A groundout by Michael Pratt scored Grayson Porter and gave the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide the lead for good.

The Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide were led by Tucker White's hitting. White went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

The Seacoast Mavericks couldn't get anything going so long as Rozzi was on the hill. Rozzi held the Seacoast Mavericks hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two.

Doug Willey (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
