The North Shore Navigators (27-19) built an early edge on Friday, but the Torrington Titans (25-20) roared back to steal a 5-2 victory at Fraser Field.
The Torrington Titans took the lead in the seventh inning on a two-run triple by Conor Bierfeldt.
Bierfeldt racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Torrington Titans. He singled in the first and fourth innings and tripled in the seventh inning.
The North Shore Navigators were led by Jake McGuiggan's hitting. McGuiggan went 2-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Derek Richards improved to 5-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. Richards struck out three, walked one and gave up three hits.
Beau Batchelor (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
