The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (20-26) and the Swift Current Indians (28-18) both had scoring chances on Sunday, but it was the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-1 win at Mitchell Field.
Jake Stalzer picked up the win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. Stalzer pitched nine innings and allowed no earned runs, eight hits and three walks while striking out four.
David Greenstein got on base three times in the game for the Swift Current Indians. He singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Myles Ethier (2-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just three innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
