The Regina Red Sox (34-10) and the Weyburn Beavers (18-25) traded the lead five times on Friday, but the Regina Red Sox ended up on top with an 8-6 win over the Weyburn Beavers.

The Regina Red Sox held off the Weyburn Beavers, as the Weyburn Beavers were unable to overcome a four-run seventh inning deficit.

The Weyburn Beavers scored on a solo home run by Dustin Silva in the eighth inning and a solo home run by Derek Wallace and a wild pitch in the ninth inning. Unfortunately, the Weyburn Beavers weren't able to take the lead back.

Chester Pak racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Regina Red Sox. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the second and seventh innings.

Daniel Eaton recorded his second win of the year for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed three runs over seven innings. Eaton struck out seven, walked one and gave up 10 hits.

Kurtis McCallum (1-3) took the loss for the Weyburn Beavers. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
