Drew Evans tossed a shutout to lift the Moose Jaw Miller Express (19-23) to a 3-0 win over the Yorkton Cardinals at Jubilee Park.

The Moose Jaw Miller Express' Evans kept the Yorkton Cardinals (13-32) off the scoreboard for all nine innings he was on the hill. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up three.

It was a good day at the plate for the Moose Jaw Miller Express' Kevin Gratza. Gratza went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the third, sixth, and ninth innings.

Logan Hershenow (3-4) took the loss for the Yorkton Cardinals. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
