The Okotoks Dawgs (22-13) were never able to get over the hump and overcome their troubles against the Swift Current Indians (19-16) on Wednesday, as the Okotoks Dawgs fell 5-3 at Mitchell Field after falling behind by five runs in the fourth inning.

The Okotoks Dawgs scored on an RBI single by Stetson Olson in the sixth inning, a sacrifice fly by Jordan Procyshen in the seventh inning, and a solo home run by Trace Tam-Sing in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Okotoks Dawgs couldn't get over the hump.

David Greenstein went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for the Swift Current Indians. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the fourth inning.

Larsen Kohler picked up the win for the Swift Current Indians. Kohler allowed two earned runs, four hits and one walk while striking out two over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Tam-Sing led the Okotoks Dawgs' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI.

Connor Russell ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
