The Yorkton Cardinals (10-26) blew out the Swift Current Indians (18-15) 11-4 on Tuesday at Jubilee Park after pouring on seven runs in the first inning.

Tory Bell racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Yorkton Cardinals. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jamie Whitehead improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Yorkton Cardinals. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Myles Ethier (1-1) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He allowed seven runs in two-thirds of an inning, walked two and struck out none.
