Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Lethbridge Bulls (17-14) and the Medicine Hat Mavericks (21-11), as the two teams put up 17 runs combined in a 9-8 the Lethbridge Bulls win.

Travis Steinke helped the Lethbridge Bulls pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. With the score tied at six in the sixth inning, Steinke came to the plate and homered.

Steinke had a hot bat for the Lethbridge Bulls. Steinke went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Jesse Sawyer racked up six RBIs on three hits for the Lethbridge Bulls. He homered in the second inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

The Medicine Hat Mavericks couldn't get anything going as long as Austin Church was on the mound. The Medicine Hat Mavericks managed just one hit off of Church, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Levi Westerlund couldn't get it done on the mound for the Medicine Hat Mavericks, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out two.
