The Medicine Hat Mavericks (31-15) trailed by six in the sixth, but the Medicine Hat Mavericks recovered thanks to a key triple in the seventh inning from Bubba Dotson to pull out a 9-7 win over the Okotoks Dawgs (26-19) at Athletic Park on Monday.

With the Medicine Hat Mavericks trailing by two in the seventh inning, Dotson came to the plate and tripled, plating Joel Lutz, Mitch Frey and CJ DeDeaux.

Dotson racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He doubled in the sixth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Stetson Olson racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Austin Park improved to 3-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He struck out three, walked none and surrendered four hits.

Alex Graham took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
