The Swift Current Indians beat up on the Edmonton Prospects, 15-2

The Swift Current Indians (14-13) continued to pile up the runs on Monday, scoring six runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 15-2 landslide win over the Edmonton Prospects (6-21) at Telus Field.

The Swift Current Indians scored four runs in the sixth on a single by Jack Thompson, a wild pitch, , a single by Alex Mortensen, , and an RBI single by Kirk Haviland.

Aaron Dunsmore had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He tripled in the first and fifth innings and singled in the eighth inning.

Myles Ethier pitched lights out for the Swift Current Indians. Ethier gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked four and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Matthew Miller reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the seventh and eighth innings.

Markus Fergusson (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed nine runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked seven and struck out two.
