An exceptional effort by Luke Bivens lifted the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (10-16) to a 5-0 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express on Saturday at Cairns Field, Saskatoon, SK.

Bivens' 10 strikeouts were enough to push the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets past the Moose Jaw Miller Express (11-15). The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets' pitcher gave up just eight hits over nine shutout innings.

Tim Colwell racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He singled in the first and third innings and tripled in the seventh inning.

Marshall Dean ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
