The Medicine Hat Mavericks (18-8) and the Lethbridge Bulls (13-12) each put runners in scoring position on Wednesday, but the Medicine Hat Mavericks capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 6-4 win at Athletic Park.

Joel Lutz racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He homered in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Levi Westerlund improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed four runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked none and surrendered 10 hits.

Brody McDonald (2-2) took the loss for the Lethbridge Bulls. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed three runs.
