Still, the Melville Millionaires couldn't catch the Regina Red Sox.
Cody Maas racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Regina Red Sox. He singled in the second and fourth innings and homered in the seventh inning.
Nick Huff brought the heat against the Melville Millionaires during his outing. Huff held the Melville Millionaires hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.
Brock Simon recorded his second win for the Regina Red Sox even though he allowed five runs over six innings. He struck out eight, walked none and surrendered eight hits.
Michael Medina (1-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked five and struck out two.
