The Moose Jaw Miller Express (9-12) didn't stand a chance on Thursday, as the Melville Millionaires (13-10) captured a blowout 12-2 win at Pirie Field.

The Melville Millionaires scored six runs in the sixth on a groundout by Bryson Thionnet, a single by Garrett Killgore, a sacrifice fly by AJ Florence, a two-run single by Ben Villafuerte, and a solo home run by Chris Burk.

Burk racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Melville Millionaires.

Parker Thomas kept contact to a minimum, striking out six the Moose Jaw Miller Express batters. Thomas allowed two earned runs, eight hits and one walk over seven innings.

Mike Gilleland reached base three times in the game for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Drew Evans couldn't get it done on the bump for the Moose Jaw Miller Express, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked two and struck out three.
