The Melville Millionaires make the most of 6 hits in 6-4 victory over the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets

The Melville Millionaires (11-8) and the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets (7-9) both had scoring chances on Saturday, but it was the Melville Millionaires that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-4 win at Pirie Field.

The Melville Millionaires would not relinquish the lead as the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets were unable to weather a six-run third inning deficit.

The Saskatoon Yellow Jackets scored on a sacrifice fly by Tim Colwell and a sacrifice fly by Colwell in the fourth inning, an RBI single by Wes Satzinger in the fifth inning, and an RBI single by Jordan Chiero in the seventh inning. Still, the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets couldn't draw even.

John Clark racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Melville Millionaires. He homered in the first inning and singled in the third innings.

Ryan Talley recorded his second win of the year for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out 10, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Andrew Malone was charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
