Five first-inning runs helped the Lethbridge Bulls (8-9) to a 9-6 win over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (7-9) at Spitz Stadium on Friday.

Jesse Sawyer helped the Lethbridge Bulls pull ahead for the duration in the sixth inning. Bretton Gouthro to start the sixth. He then went from first to second. Finally, Sawyer came to the plate with the score tied at six, and, plating Gouthro.

Dale Anderson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Lethbridge Bulls. He tripled in the first inning.

Brody McDonald brought the heat against the Moose Jaw Miller Express during his outing. McDonald held the Moose Jaw Miller Express hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three.

Drew Evans (1-2) took the loss for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed seven runs in five innings, walked seven and struck out one.
