An awesome effort by Sheridan Davis lifted the Regina Red Sox (13-3) to a 5-1 win over the Weyburn Beavers (5-10) on Wednesday at Tom Laing Park.

Davis looked sharp on the mound. Davis gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out 10 during his seven innings of work.

Chris Untereiner racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Regina Red Sox. He homered in the fifth inning.

Kris Keating (0-1) took the loss for the Weyburn Beavers. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
