A walk-off single from Bryan Arthur brought home the winning run for the Medicine Hat Mavericks (6-2) in a 6-5 victory over the Swift Current Indians (3-3) at Athletic Park on Monday.

Arthur was solid at the plate for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Arthur went 1-5 and drove in one. He singled in the ninth inning.

Dillon Usiak racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He homered in the fourth inning.

The Swift Current Indians couldn't get anything going so long as Kenton Schroter was on the hill. Schroter held the Swift Current Indians hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Will Thorp racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Larsen Kohler (0-1) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out none, and allowed one run.
