Daniel Jones struck out nine batters to lift the Regina Red Sox (28-8) to a 7-1 win over the Melville Millionaires (20-18) at Pirie Field.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Regina Red Sox in the ninth. The Regina Red Sox's bats caught fire leading to five runs.

The Regina Red Sox were led by Cody Maas's hitting. Maas went 3-4 and scored one run. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.

Jordan Marah was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
