Brandon Vaughn racked up seven RBIs on four hits for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He homered in the third inning, singled in the fourth and fifth innings, and doubled in the seventh inning.

Jordan Rawlyk improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Saskatoon Yellow Jackets. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out seven, walked two and surrendered seven hits.

Corey Gilligan (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
