The Lethbridge Bulls (2-1) beat the Edmonton Prospects (0-2) 5-1 in eight innings on Saturday at Telus Field behind Zach Rhodes, who had four RBIs.

He tripled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings.

The Lethbridge Bulls relied on Alex Regan to eat up innings en route to the win. Regan pitched seven innings and allowed no earned runs, five hits and one walk while striking out five.

Craig George couldn't get it done on the hill for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
