The Keene Swamp Bats (11-4) pounded the North Adams SteepleCats (10-7) on Thursday 12-2 at Alumni Field, Keene,NH.

The Keene Swamp Bats scored six runs in the seventh on a groundout by Austin Wheeler, a double by Cameron OBrien, an RBI single by Nelson Ward, a two-run single by JP Sportman, and a solo home run by Grant Kay.

Ward had three extra-base hits for the Keene Swamp Bats.

Scott Simon got the win for the Keene Swamp Bats thanks to five strikeouts. Simon allowed no earned runs on four hits and three walks over 5 2/3 innings.

Tyler Gebler couldn't get it done on the hill for the North Adams SteepleCats, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked none and struck out three.
